Queen Elizabeth's clothes, reputedly numbering over 3000 dresses, were given to Anne of Denmark, wife of King James VI of Scotland, who became King of England when
Elizabeth died in the March of 1603. Not one of Elizabeth's gowns survives today, but a few items of clothing have survived the centuries, including her corset, boots, hat, gloves and Christening robe.
