20. Who was Queen Elizabeth's mother?
Elizabeth's mother was Queen Anne Boleyn (pictured above). She was the second wife of King Henry VIII. When she failed to give the King a son, he grew tired of her. She was falsely accused of adultery, imprisoned in the Tower of
London, and beheaded there on 19 May 1536. Elizabeth was only two years old.
