Although the portraits of Elizabeth I are very old, many of them are still under copyright, and obtaining a license for displaying just one picture can be expensive. Some owners of pictures even prohibit the display of their pictures on the web. I maintain this site as a hobby, so can't afford to purchase all the licenses required.
